Camp Creek (26)

We realized today that we’ve been riding through district 12 and didn’t even know it.   There are a lot of small mining towns, and the road we’re on is the Coal Heritage Trail Scenic Byway.

This morning while we waited for a slow train at a crossing, Rachel mailed some postcards.

Then, she tried to deposit some money. I quickly discovered that it was a ruse; she doesn’t have any money, she just wanted shade.

This is how we dry our clothes after we hand wash them:
We ended the day at Camp Creek, where we danced in the rain instead of showering.
