This year, we both unknowingly planned to surprise the other at 5am with donuts, so we wound up walking over to Dunkin’ together!

Grandma’s Pasta Salad
Aunt Bonnie shared this recipe with me for my bridal shower, and it is delicious! I had some shredded mild cheddar cheese, so I substituted it in for the mozzarella and it was still yummy. 🙂 I also had some parsley that I needed to use up, so I sprinkled that on top.
Fibbage at Killington
It’s safe to say that I laughed so hard that I cried multiple times this weekend. We really enjoyed skiing at Killington with Max, Liz, Robin, Jarrod, Will, and Morgan. Per usual, we stayed up until 4AM on Friday night, this time playing Fibbage and Drawful and laughing hysterically.
The weekend also included a delicious family meal (yes, I took home all of the leftovers, despite Liz’s repugnance), composed of veggies and hamburgers and sausages cooked over the fire.
Jay Peak with Aunt Bonnie
My Tuesday to Thursday trip to Jay Peak with Aunt Bonnie was such a treat! It was pretty exciting to only work on Monday and Friday that week, and we had a blast exploring the mountain and the resort.
On the drive up, we stopped at Molly’s in Hanover for lunch. I chose this meal, because the tostones (fried plantains) reminded me of our honeymoon. (They forgot avocado, so they brought it out later, after I took this picture)
Joe Froggers
I’m not sure where the name came from, but these are soft molasses cookies. This recipe is one my mom makes frequently in the winter.
