Sammy dropped off his hardtail earlier in the week for me to use:
Mom had the day off, so she joined us on a ride up Cottonwood Road:
Kids: be safe, wear a helmet! (We were short one, so Mom valiantly decided that she had the least life left to live).
You used my dad’s bike and helmet; I’m pretty sure that his helmet must be the original Giro helmet. Luckily, since all of the pads have long since been worn down or fallen out of the inside of it, you were able to fit it on your big noggin:
We even biked to Four Corners to visit Dad at work, and then stopped for a sweet treat at Béquet Confections.
The confectionery has big windows from the shop into the factory so that you can watch the workers make the caramel.
Aw, look! You even held my handlebar for this picture at the end of the driveway.
Sammy trekked up from Butte to have sushi with us at Seven Sushi, where two of his friends were our hostess and waiter.
Then, some froyo was in order from U-Swirl (not such a great moment for you in this picture, hehe):
Stay tuned for Storm Castle, ruled by a friendly chipmunk.
