These ski legs still work pretty well as bike legs…

IMG_0003_editThis Ride was a tough one, but I really like cutting over to Simsbury and back, wish you could have come with me 🙂  I didn’t get any pictures from during the ride, but made sure to get one afterwards.. betcha can’t guess who was on the other side of the camera.

I got to try out my new biking jacket though, which was great.  I even had to unzip up the big hills (~3,000′!) to cool down though.  I also got to use the toe covers finally (almost didn’t since you hid them so well), which also worked out very well.  The full covers may have been a little much for the ride today, so these were great as well.  Thank you 🙂

Hope you had a good ride today also!  Its hard to tell in the picture above, but it had just started raining as I got home.  TTL, because I definitely didn’t have the energy to go any faster!

  1. Nope! I used the GorillaPod b/c my Mother was napping and I didn’t dare ask my father. I didn’t wanna wait for my mom bc I wanted to get it soon after I got home, and show you my outfit with bright red jacket and bright yellow (fluorescent) gloves.

And I’m also very excited that Union made it for the time we bought tickets 🙂 I keep confusing that it’s next weekend and it’s not this weekend, though. A week and a half is a long time inbetween games for them… but I suppose for football they get almost 2 weeks before the Superbowl.

Last thing – you made your workout private for that ride, so I can’t look at the map or any of the details… just so you know.
