The evening before the race, Casey, Julie and I met up with Rachel, Dearon and Sam for dinner at Sunset Grille & Tap in Allston. Afterwards we put Casey to bed, but the rest of us gathered our bikes and headed to Hopkinton for the midnight marathon ride. We lucked out with the weather for the bike ride, and there was a great turn-out once again. Unfortunately we missed the memo and started riding around 12:30am which was still before the peloton came through, but everyone had a great time regardless!

I took this picture yesterday before shoveling and working in the shop at Hartland Pond. It was a really mild day, so I was happy to have an excuse to be outside. Hopefully all these snow storms follow us to Montana in a few weeks to change the color on the map (link) from green to blue… or even better – they get there before us, and hang around until after we’ve gone!
