…I want to own a corn dog farm!I actually learned that these are called Cossack Asparagus, or “cattail” might be what you’ve known them as. Parts of the plant is edible, and/or can be used for medicinal purposes.
There’s some intelligence for your life, take that John Tesh! Now you can be the smartest person in the room.
I laughed out loud.
And I love corndogs!
So now, when we are biking and you have a huge crash and we don’t have health insurance, I can make a poultice out of the cattail and apply it to your wounds, and because we will be in the middle of nowhere and your bike will be broken from the crash, I can dry out some of the stalks to make spears to keep away the hungry wolves. I’ll use the seed heads and dried leaves to build a fire to keep us warm, and then I’ll bake a cattail flour cake so that we don’t starve.
There’s only one problem with that anecdote… I don’t crash. It pleases me that this gave you a laugh, though. 🙂
I have this faint memory of a big crowd of people crossing the street, and you trying to unclip and then very quickly going from being vertical to horizontal…
