We acquired this tube on our last long tour, across the US. Chris’ bum developed sores very quickly, and he used excessive amounts of butter, stopping frequently to reapply and give his rear a break. Finally, he got a new seat in Buffalo, NY, and his Chamois Butt’r usage sharply decreased.

I probably should have purchased a smaller tube or transferred the rest of this one to a smaller container before this trip, but I assumed that we would finish the small amount left within a week or two. Here we are, 200 miles from the end, and we still haven’t used it up. However, I would still carry this wonderful balm the whole way if I had to do it again. The few times we did need it, the soothing cream provided very welcome relief for our sore spots!
